A Packaging Workshop will be held tomorrow during INDEX in the Hall 4 conference area. The workshop, which will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is available free of charge to all registered exhibitors and visitors to INDEX 11. It will be led by George Kellie of Kellie Solutions Group and will feature executives from Innowo Print, Glatfelter, JBA Sourcing, Bond, Wonderful Nonwoven Company and Natureworks.
After many years of solid, but slow growth, the packaging segmentis blossoming and now accounts for almost 3% of all nonwovens applications. The sector is characterized by a very broad range of applications with technology and innovation key success factors. This workshop will aim to open up this growth area and should appeal to packaging end-users and specifiers plus nonwoven manufacturers and converters and raw material producers.
Also on Wednesday, there will be a Management Workshop On Innovation in the Hall 4 conference area. This all-day event, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. will be led by Karl-Michael Schumann.
A former R&D Director at Procter & Gamble and now a Future Business Development and Innovation Advisor and Coach, Dr. Schumann is a Champion of Innovation with the expertise and credibility to guide and coach others into taking systematic, business building innovation to new levels.
Dr. Schumann will share insights, best practices and stories of success and failures as attendees learn how to build and sustain superior innovation capabilities so that sustained current and future business value is achieved, and how to cascade that innovation dynamic through all levels of an organization.
